Exercises with SI NO
Usage: “SI NO” (written as two separate words), is used to express a conditional idea, similar to “if not” in English.
Example1:
Si no se respetan a ustedes mismos, no podrán respetar a los demás.
(If you don’t respect yourselves, you won’t be able to respect others.)
Example2:
Si no estudias, no aprobarás.
(If you don’t study, you won’t pass.)
Other examples:
1. Si no comes, tendrás hambre.
(If you don’t eat, you’ll be hungry.)
2. Si no trabajan, no les pagarán.
(If you don’t work, you won’t get paid.)
3. Si no me llamas, iré solo.
(If you don’t call me, I’ll go alone.)
4. Si no vienes, lo haré yo.
(If you don’t come, I’ll do it.)
5. Si no encuentras las llaves, no podrás entrar.
(If you don’t find the keys, you won’t be able to enter.)
6. Si no nos cuidamos, nos enfermaremos.
(If we don’t take care of ourselves, we’ll get sick.)
7. Si no haces la tarea, no podrás salir.
(If you don’t do your homework, you won’t be able to go out.)
8. Si no duermes bien, estarás cansado mañana.
(If you don’t sleep well, you’ll be tired tomorrow.)
9. Si no llegas a tiempo, empezaremos sin ti.
(If you don’t arrive on time, we’ll start without you.)
10. Si no me escuchas, no entenderás.
(If you don’t listen to me, you won’t understand.)
11. Si no tienes paciencia, te frustrarás.
(If you don’t have patience, you’ll get frustrated.)
12. Si no hablan español (ellos), les costará comunicarse aquí.
(If they don’t speak Spanish, it will be hard for them to communicate here.)
